That ride was the best I've had and the memory will keep me going through the winter.  Top ride Roadrocket and thanks for posting the video.

On a sheepish note I was reminded that at one point on the run up to the Junction at Tan Hill, there was a sheep stood on some high ground on the right hand beside the road watching all it's pals on the moor on the left. I thought it was waiting for the right moment to wander out into the path of one of us. However it just stood there. As I passed it's lookout viewing point I looked in the mirrors to see it clamber down to the road, look both ways and then trot accross.  So they're not all so daft after all. Although he probably didn't think that about us lot.
This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can.

Does this???

https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1ZNVWxFhcUM6kh2wiPquuq-mfdUE

(I've previewed this post and clicked on the link above and it has opened the map - but it's not got the same permissions as I originally created  :icon_batterup: )

Anyone know why the original link to the map won't open it (on this forum)?  I can open it from loads of other places I.e Facebook, Tiger forum!!  :dl_hyperhysteria: :bawl: :dl_hyperhysteria:

Looks like you had a good day. Went up that way Sunday, nice new tarmac up on top. Did Hardnose and Whynot passes too, followed by Kirkstone then back through Dales. 300 mostly dry miles. Good therapy.  :)
