The Blue Oyster bar / Re: Ear plugs, what do you use ..?

Personally could never get on with earplugs, I have a form of tinitus like most and the 'noise ' when plugs are in is a dull repetative hum /click sound   But with the radio on in the helmet speakers ..it's a game changer .

Finished off the winter tidy up by removing the battery and cleaning all the electrical connectors found around it. As it was such a cracking day I took off for a ride to Jedburgh, Carter Bar, then down toward Newcastleton and home to Hawick.

Hello all,

Old Vstrom going up for sale. She is an old girl but still 100% reliable. She has had the secondary butterflies removed as the old ones were seized. Comes with extras as below.

I have her advertised locally at £1800 however will go to a forum member for £1400

Any questions let me know

Fills service last month oil filter, air filter, spark plugs.

wears its age well but not a showroom bike, she’s in overall good condition no major dents or scuffs.

Small split in seat.

Will display a c28 code as secondary butterflies removed from the throttle bodies. Common modification much smoother and better mpg.

If you want to tour, commute or anything in between it’s a great bike for it.

Traitors Corner / Re: What have you done with your bike today?

Good on you mate 👍 on the other hand I have put so much weight on since doing my knee in and being off work for 16 months.
the new jacket I bought in 2022 goes no where near me now 😱

I also went out for a little ride today only to Chelmsford to see my Brother ( he is in a dementia home bought on from losing his leg from gangrene ☹️)

A nice little ride and good to get out again.
