Time to change the rear

Hello blokes,
Time to get a near tear for my v strom 650 09 reg.
looking at prices out there , everything seems to be sky high. Does anybody have a known supplier that won’t charge an arm and a leg for a new rear tyre. I currently have battlax BT023 150/70ZR17/C 69W installed. Got a puncture repaired and it’s squared off a bit due to my frequent motorway riding.

Sorry to disappoint but tyre prices have risen massively over the last year.

Not trying to advertise,  this is just for comparison but for a BT023 I charge £142 all in .

I just saw. S London. Would have been alright 10 years when I lived in Sutton. But not now. Ballz. OK I’ll have to keep looking for the best price possible from local garages.

Keep a beady eye on flea bay too ,some odd bargains there if you're not in a hurry ,just factor in the price of getting it changed at your bloke.

Got a new rear Bridgestone BT023 for £112.00 of EBay and having it installed tomorrow. Let’s see what they charge me for installation…

As an update. Purchasing a BT023 of eBay was £112.95 took the bike to the mechanic for him to do the installation. He charged me £35 plus VAT (£42 total). Does the fitting price sound about right to you? I watched them do it and with the equipment they had , they really did have to put a full 30 minutes Labour to get the tyre on.

The local motorbike tyre shop charges £30 to fit to wheels on the bike on tyres they sell (free if the wheels are off the bike), so it's not too bad I guess.

When I made the mistake attempted to fit the Michelin PR 4s myself a few years ago, I ended up taking loose wheels to another local bike shop, and they charged £10 per wheel for tyres I supplied.

Charges vary, we're £30 per wheel , this covers labour and the use of equipment needed however, as we are a tyre dealer,  you're in and out in 20 mins for a pair give or take.

I managed to get a pair of A40's from M&P for £109 del....a while back, just had them fitted front a while back and the rear last week, can't 'feel' any difference to be honest to the A41's that were on the bike. Not impressed with the wear think it's about 6.5K from the rear on the A41. Price of bike tyres atm are crazy.
