.....where I lived in 1994 before going frogside! Thanks for the thought Asmith61.  :thumb:   We first moved to the village in 1983 when the landlord at the local Plough pub had to manually bring up pints from the cellar via a ladder.

A very quaint area to live, my last visits have taken us Rockets up to Ely Cathedral and Lavenham in Suffolk, if Essex wasn't enough. Not on the bike though, too much Christmas spirit to bring back last November.

(I see Mr Scrooge has cleared out the smileys again until 23rd December, at the earliest......      )
So how's it going so far then?

You are more than welcome joe  :)
On that ride on Monday I went from there to RAF lakenheath to the viewing area just as I was pulling up I didn’t even have time to take my helmet off 3 F15 fighter jets landed one after another it was so amazing to see I spoke to the chap next to me and he was like wow we were so lucky to see that, we carried on chatting at a safe distance I might add, then we saw the same planes coming round and thought they were parking up but 2 of them took off right in front of us one after the other after burners right in line where I was I just wish I had my phone out to video or take pictures but sadly I didn’t I text my wife to tell her what I’d seen then carried on my ride, later on I stopped for fuel and checked my phone there was a message from my wife saying that a F15 from RAF lakenheath had crashed in to the North Sea and they were looking for the pilot and the wreckage, in the evening came the very sad news that the pilot had been found but he was deceased tragic news and my thoughts go out to the pilots family and colleagues.

Just a little way from "Audley End Classics", motorcycle restoration company . Always worth a peek at their little sale room.
This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can.

Rusty, I was trying to keep that quiet but now you all know...........

Asmith61, I stopped at the viewing area at Lakenheath and like you was surprised by the flight activity, we saw 7 land in about 20 minutes. No dramas as I recall.
So how's it going so far then?
