Ever since I first had a test ride on the V-Strom 1000 I've been smitten by the bike. Great handling, comfy, good brakes and suspension and that stonking V twin engine, that in most circumstances, has more than enough grunt. I've never been able to really summarise what I find so good about it till I gave my life long friend and riding buddy a run on mine at the weekend.
When I asked his opinion his reply was "it's easy". What he meant was, he could just jump on it and ride it well instantly. "Easy" is the word that I find fits the bike very well: easy handling, easy power, easy to like and very easy to do very long days riding.
