Cheers for like on the intro
Believe it or not, I have passed GCSE English 'b' grade, just last year
Absolutely loved it; more than I can say for the first time around 38 years ago.
So I am in the practice of rambling on.

Update- had the Wee for a week and spent most of Sunday riding it. It is very like the Tiger- and has all the power I need. It handles very well- but you have to be careful the front does not go wide - so you kind of have to think real quick and almost turn early into and especially on the exit pull it around - I am palying around with body position on this to see what is best.
180 miles on £21.50 - 16.5 Ltr -same as first tank.  that's about 60mpg.
only thing I am wishig I could put Michelin Piot road 3's on.
seems they do a 19" 'Sportif' anybody know if these are grippier than trailwinds and the like?

Seems the Michelin site is a bit rubbish
They have been making a 19" pr3 for a few years!

Hi Pete ,
 :welcome:  :welcome2:

I'm only up the road on the borders of London/Kent . Was intersteing reading your first post , I had fs1e to start and then on to LCs and powervalves .. loved them . I currently own a vstrom1000 and a CB500 with 95000 on the miles on the clock , I've raced it lots on trackdays but I now commute it, the CB500 is a top bike .

You can get Michelin pilot road 3s and 4s in a trail version in most good bike tyre shops .

I was thinking to keep the cbf500 for track days.   PR3,s on it were great round Brands last year
Brands , Lyndon  & Donington
Have to hook up  for a sesh at Brands
I want to track day the 650? V-Strom
Needs a bit of work before I do though

Rather you than me ....  :)... best track for the 650 is lidden hill, quite a twisty circuit with no real fast corners.
