I had a set of roadtec 01's on my vee just before I sold it, Previous to that I rode down to Sicily on them two up with camping gear. Because I'm in the trade metzeler gave me a set to use in order to help sell them to our customers.
I covered around 4k miles with varied roads and once we got back they were around half worn.
I found them to be a great tyre that heated up very quickly , gave good feedback , had decent grip in the wet and dry . Having ridden on tourances and pilot 4s I can assure you they are as good if not better , I Highly recommended but retail price is expensive.
