DL1000 WANTED
« on: January 11, 2020, 10:55:41 »
Good morning,
It's been a very long time since I last posted on here (so long that I forgot all my log in details!) but I am in the market for another DL1000 AL series, 2014 onwards mainly for my stepson to use. We  have previously owned a K2/K6& K7.
- private cash buyer located in central England but distance no object (for one of Boris' oap's).
- happy to consider any mileage, low or high.
- would like heated grips/hand guards/engine bars/service history/top box rack (already have pannier set) .
-  Your bike must be realistically priced (see www.thebikemarket.co.uk) .It's not my fault that Suzuki have been heavily discounting surplus stocks & there are loads for sale at the stealers!
- Happy to consider the ones already advertised on this site once the owners have checked the current market value.
- I don't bite, but neither do I suffer fools easily!
Regards, Richard

lol! No colour preference, no need for wonky clutch basket, slave cylinder, porous electrics or self peeling paint because I've had all those before, nor   cruise control, heated seats, semi active suspension,135bhp or shaft drive ,because they are all on my main bike, but will put up with sissy strips (normally charge £10 to remove) & settlement with any dodgy high rate finance company who may be upsetting your missus with the monthly payments.

Could maybe look at Triumph Tiger 800, great finish quality, decent ride, non of the unwanted “characteristics” of a Suzuki  and realistic 2nd hand prices

Incontinent? Well, I am pissing myself laughing at the tone and direction of this thread and its attendant posts in two "for sale" threads.
