1290 superduke..
« on: August 21, 2016, 15:15:31 »
I bought one of these after trying hard not to, my god...it rattles, the computer drives me nuts, well, not so much now I have worked it out, the wind blast is complete,  but it handles so light for a 1.3 litre bike, and above 5 thousand rpm it is unbelievable the first five gears, 3rd 4th and fifth being most usable.

Anyone else had a good go on one? :)

Jealous!   Nice one Wurzel. Great bike, I really like the gt 1290 but way outa my price range.  Good health to enjoy.  You still got the strom too?  It'll feel slow after the KTM, over 6000rpm anyway!

You didn't try very hard not to did you. I bet the 1st line of the advert read "Ideal for suicide attempt".

Enjoy your complete and total nutter 'bike.

P.s Please may I have your Raptor when you inevitably maim yourself?  :stirpot:
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

Haha, it was such a good deal I had to have it, the strom still takes pride of place, the raptor is sulking, but I love it!

The ktoom is just one he'll of a machine, it's took me 3 days to get some semblance of an idea of what's going on above 5 thousand rpm, it's so strong.
The first few times the change up light came on I thought it was sudden retina bleed! lol
