Differences between DL1000 AL7,AL8 and AL9

Hi there

Getting closer to buying. After test rides on the 650 and 1000 (both AL7) leaning towards the 1000.

But don't know if I'm missing something obvious (have used the search function here and google. etc.) but having trouble finding out what is actually different about the AL7 AL8 and AL9 on the DL1000 - is it just cosmetic?

Apologies if this has been asked before but I couldn't find a relevant post.
