Title: Standard DL1000 exhausts?
Post by: Spottyplayer on May 07, 2009, 21:47:41
I have a set of standards which I took off after about 1000 miles and replaced with Scorpions. I thought that I might as well sell them, I just wondered has anyone els sold them? and how much for? I might have some other bit's to sell soon hopefully!

Personally I'd keep them.

Form past experience it's better to keep hold of them in case you sell your bike - you can sell the bike with it's stock exhausts and then sell the Scorpions separately - make more money

Personally, I love people who sell their stock items.

It makes it so much cheaper for me to buy them than going to Suzuki.

But I already have a set of spare cans !

save them and sell the scorpions to me for £50 and I will pay postage
its worth keeping just in case you do sell the bike there is some scorpions on ebay which have gone over £250 at the mo with another 10 hours + to go

I have just bought a pair of standard cans for £50.I have butchered them and the strom sounds great with a noticeable power differance mid range,it has also got rid of the pain in the arse 30 mph syndrome spluttering and farting.well worth doing and alot cheaper.would highly recommend :thumb:  :thumb:
