Now the Phone is showing off.
« on: January 21, 2022, 23:55:04 »
As you know me and the PC have not been getting on well lately and it's  gone into a deep silent sulk.  Now the phone is joining in. When I try to access this site I get a message to the effect that the phone has decided this is an unsafe site  that might be trying to steal my data. Now you have to balance this warning against the unremovable link to facebook that is lurking in every corner. I am now close to tossing the phone as far into the north sea as my age feebled arms can manage.  ### ### ### ###

It looks like it's a Google thing. I managed to connect my phone onto this forum using Firefox. The Phone is a SONY and I won't be buying another.

Not just you Brockett but if your phone and pc are connected (Google will do it for you without your knowledge) on the same 'Box' through WiFi then you need some personalisation surgery on your computer.

I don't use my wife's phone but she saw my emails before I did whilst on WiFi.

She's changed phones, I've changed computer and no Google now.

Just saying.
So how's it going so far then?

I think this is the encryption certificate expiry issue again. Older, non-updateable devices will see this.
If someone knows an easy fix, speak up.
