DL1000 Scorpion exhausts @ 100,000 miles

We all love the sound of our beloved Vee Twins, which is one of the reasons we own them. But, replacing them because they sound better than the muted standard pipes is the main reason, I believe, to surrender 2 or 3 hundred notes. So, having achieved a much loved sound and an additional hp or two (at best) will the `set up' last and deliver? Well, having taken my Vee to 110k (100k on the aftermarket pipes) from new, I can say the only set backs have been....
1. Bottom end pick up was 1000 revs further up the rev range.
2. A slight increase in noise over the progression of miles.
3. Has always popped and farted over the years compared with the original,  on `throttle off'.
Would I do it all over again? Friggin' sure I am, but this time on a KTM 1190R. (The 02 Vee is still a good looking winter hack with a world tour left in it. These motors are the strongest I`ve ever owned and prey the Austrian all-rounder 1190R can live up to its expectations).
