Bournemouth Vees ^^
« on: March 16, 2014, 18:39:10 »
Black Vee parked a few down from me at Hengistbury Head, then on the way back to the A338 I passed a blue Vee turning right off Castle Lane to go to Tescos :)

It was glorious down at HHead, wasn't it? I miss living in Bournemouth so much, I used to live on Church Road about a mile round the seafront from there.

God's waiting room! I avoid it like the plague. I can cover 3 miles in Bourne in the same time as I cover 20 miles anywhere else in Dorset.

My Teenage Daughter and her friends are going for a girls holiday in .... Bournemouth! I assume Eastbourne was too trendy for them.

Years ago I was told "The cream of Europe come from Bournemouth" now it's all gone rather sour.

Probably didn't want to get shown up on the dancefloor by pensioners (hips allowing)

Lived there too when I was a nipper, on Lincoln Rd near Littlesea, then moved to Derby Street (think it's a street) not far from the seafront. Lived in an old rundown 4 storey B&B that frightened the shit out of me (I was 5 :D)

I live down in Poole and love it! The town may not be wonderful, but the surrounding area more than makes up for it and we have some great roads for bikes, plus bike-friendly coppers too. Add in the fact we have bike night every Tuesday throughout the summer and it's all a bit of a bikers paradise! I am aware that at 32 I am more than half the average age though, and dodging the mobility scooters in town can be frustrating...

My dad used to work at Sunseeker so I know the harbour area :D at least in Poole you don't have people staring at you for having two functioning hips and no cataracts :D

EH?

What did that young man just say?
"I am a dignified citizen of the area, not a fox-faced vagabond in an over-fancy hat!"

You've obviously never been to Bournemouth!
The average age is very old, and getting older, they never give up driving till they drop dead at the wheel!
