Thanks Ian, I checked it out, looks like a non runner
2019 DL1000 PART NUMBER 45100-31J71-BGQ.
2021 DL650 PART NUMBER 45100-28K01-BGP

I have a DL1000 2014 and a DL650 2012. I'll try swapping the seats tomorrow if that will help? I'll let you know if it fits.

The DL650 17+ uses a "hook" type latch, the DL1000 14-19 uses a post style from looking at the parts diagram.

However, I'm unsure if the seat bases are actually the same, or similar enough, to simply swap the latches on the seat base to make them fit... you'd probably have to put two seats side by side to compare.

I have the tall seat version on my '22 650, an inch deeper,two inches wider,lovely.
Come up on ebay occasionally new ,cheap.

Thanks all for your help. I'm happy enough now, the DL650 2017-2024 uses a different seat type to the 2014-2019 DL1000
