F1 light

hi blokes, hope you are all well.
had to replase the exhaust on my sons 2016 DL650 {rusted and broke} now as we removed the O2 sensor it snapped off.
this has left us with an one wanted F1 light on the dash, I tried conecting the 2 white pins together with a risistor but the F1 still comes on.
any ideas how to stop the light comming back on, new O2 sensor not an option at the moment due to cost.

may help,but you need to block off the hole where the sensor was ,or for at least for it to be air tight if the snapped sensor is still there.

So I had a similar issue , I trapped part of the wire from the o2 sensor in the clutch cover , I bought a plug for the hole in exhaust and also came with a small black socket that plugs in to the connection , however the light still comes on as soon as you are in 5/6 gear or if you open her up in 2/3 , I learned to live with it however I have just got back from a 509km trip and the last 500m I got a hole in the exhaust so origanal going back on and I have patched up and cleaned the sensor so I won’t have that light anymore,

yes it is blanked off, going to try the plug you listed.
