Just a thought - not sure if I read it on here or elsewhere, but I did a search and couldn’t find it on the forum. Not claiming it’s my idea. Anyhow, I was experiencing great discomfort after only 30 or so miles riding. I used something called glove glue. Intended for goal keepers gloves and improving grip, but in the product small print it’s mentioned that it can be used on motorcycle seats. Spray it on, leave for 10-20 seconds, then lightly wipe off. Leaves the seat slightly tacky, but not overly sticky. Haven’t found that it marks or stains clothing. Product does recommend test spraying a small area first.
This solved my problem! I was sliding forward on the seat when braking etc and ending up in an uncomfortable position. I would readjust seat position and the same thing would happen in short order, or at best, gradually without my fully realising. Not any more. The glove glue worked for me. Able to move about when I want to and maintain a comfortable seat position. Can also move around the seat and alter position for a few minutes and stay put, alleviating any pressure points before they occur. Cost was £10 for a 120ml 4oz bottle that’ll last a year or two at least I would think. Has made a huge difference to comfort and also concentration levels, as not fatigued / uncomfortable from seat pain. Might be worth a try? Make / brand is glove glu. Other makes are available but I haven’t tried these. Not affiliated in any way whatsoever to the brand / manufacturer.
Hope this helps someone.
