Gen 1 650 skid plate
« on: October 27, 2024, 11:02:34 »
So after fitting the Delkevic exhaust system, the bracket for the OEM
skid plate won't reach the mounting point on the right side as it hits one of the exhaust pipes  :angry-banghead:

Does anyone know of an aftermarket skid plate that doesn't rely on the original mounting bracket and is compatible with the OEM
 crash bars?

Would it not be easier and probably much cheaper to make of have made a new bracket?  :thumb:

I have a Cosmo steel skid plate that I took off my 2010 650, it didn't cause problems with the exhaust. It is available if you would like it. Would £40 plus postage be of interest to you? It is heavy so would need to work out postage cost.

Ah didn't note you have a different exhaust - so don't know if it would interfere with it.
