Strom 1050 near Haverhill Suffolk.

Good morning(ish) good people.
Collected my new 1050RR just recently, hope to increase the mileage significantly from it's current 86.....
Found this site whilst searching for ideas on the best crash bars, I'm under the impression some may cover the plastics.
I might just add "proper" luggage if some day I'm feeling a little less poor

Cheers, much appreciated.
As you can see, I replaced the original screen with a Puig. It was £56 used, on eBay, and was actually delivered as I rode my Strom home from the dealer (bike dealer). Also added a Givi rear plate for my existing top box.
Previous steed was a ZZR1200, what an animal that was 😁

Welcome,
I used to be just down the road from Haverhill in Glemsford. Some good roads round that way :thumb:

Crikey, yes that's only 15 minutes away.
A great ride from Bury St Edmunds down to Great Dunmow via Finchingfield.
Goes straight past our little farm, all weekend throughout the summer, we can hear screaming non-OEM cans going past 😂

You may be able to help  with a great stretch of road I found round that way  last year , somewhere ? , but can't find again
Yell if you come across it :thumb:

Apparently, we breed horses...
I'll keep an eye for that road.

Best colour too. I'm currently being seduced back to a BMW 1250GSA, but rode my 1050 over the weekend and am really torn.  Other than the standard seat, which was awful for me so changed for an aftermarket one, there's little to complain about and lots to like.

I love how it feels so small and light to ride, when it's actually not small at all. Everything about riding it is so effortless.
