V-Strom specific discussion / Re: Front sprocket

I think I'd prefer to have the lock washer in place.
Just got back from 5 days in North Wales and some of the most stunning weather I've ever seen there.
Especially when he's working away.
The std silencer is hardly loud . Tell your  neighbour his wife makes more noise during sex 😁😁😁

V-Strom specific discussion / Front sprocket

I have just fitted the new front sprocket with the rubber moulding inserted. It has a recess and the lock washer will not fit into the recess, will I still be OK without it if it is torqued correctly and thread lock put on ?

Decided to check it out for yourself eh.
Filtered past me in the car on your way out of Clifton
I have a mate who has sold a bike and the new one comes with fitted panniers. Before he bungs these on eBay he asked if I want them for the Strom. They are hardly used and very cheap to buy off him.  I've not seen them to measure up as he lives a long way away so a couple of questions to the Hive.....

Anyone on here got the C-Bow Frames fitted to a Strom?
Do the panniers clear the exhaust?

Mine's a 1000XT 2018

Murky bowcup everyone.
