£20 UNIVERSAL TOP BOX (24L) review.
« on: July 16, 2020, 21:31:55 »
Bought this top box. Wanted just to store one helmet or put in shopping etc. Cheap (£20) but seems well made. Good mounting plate and easy to detach with simple internal thumb wheel in 60 seconds. Very stable and a good budget box I would say. I've had one before and never let me down. Easy secure lock with 2 keys. Delivered in 3 days - well packed.

I've got a 37 litre Kappa top box, might just fit 2 full face helmets, is of a good size and doesn't look stupid. Actually they're such big bikes you can get away with any top box without it looking stupid... :)

I fitted the same topbox to her Enfield a few years back.

Take the nut of the end of the lock barrel and refit with some thread lock.

The one we had was a bugger to open up when than nut fell off and the barrel wouldn't turn the latch.

Other than that a very good budget box.
The Givi I just fitted the my dad's Address 110 is better quality but was twice the price, but there was nothing really wrong with the build quality of the cheap one.
