Took it for a MOT, on the way home from work on Sunday I noticed that one of my rear auxiliary lights was not working so monday's job was to fit a new one. MOT today and PASS with no advisories.  :thumb:

Just fitted my new Givi luggage to the Glee.
I fitted the PL3101 racks a couple of weeks ago but couldn't afford the panniers until now.
A pair of Trekker 33 panniers and an EA110b tankbag.
I have noticed that the passenger footpegs are very close to the panniers when they are mounted and my heel actually touches the pnniers.
The missus only has small feet so hopefully will be OK!

Looking good. Your missus will be fine - we managed to South of France with no issues for the missus  :thumb:

Yeah,  as said no problem with them.  Its getting on & off with panniers & top box on for Deb,  a bad knee (and age.... but don't tell her that!!  :violence-smack:) doesn't help.

Too much... Full service including all fluids, filters, spark plugs, light bulbs and a deep clean. Plus I'm still wiring in some spot lights and aux USB for my sat-nav  :)

Going to be another late night  :dl_ninite:

To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

If the remap smooth it out and crisps it up a bit you have had a result. :)

Yep, the whole double garage is a v-strom haven. I have a mill, lathe and 3-D printer the other side of the wardrobe to make or replace bits for the old girl... She is 14 years old now.  :old:

I fitted the Givi  sump bash plate/sump guard.  First impressions are that its sturdy and practical.

The centre stand started to squeak  when used on our trip so took it off yesterday and gave it a coat of hammerite and put it back on today with a coating of grease. Also did the side stand, no paint, just grease.
Then spent a hour or two removing the French insects stuck to the screen, lights and nose, washing and polishing it! Luckily I managed to remain in the shade all day, but bloody hell it felt hot though!!

After yesterdays very hot ride out, the very effective hand guards have been temporarily removed to allow cool air to reach my hot hands. Also thinking about doing the screen as well, bloody weather  :sunny: :sunny:

I think insects don't have 'nationality' Mick.   lol
So how's it going so far then?

I've been riding a while without hand guards and screen. Without the screen your visor will get covered in (British) bugs so you need to keep it down or it'll be your face (not that you can ride with it open at speed without goggles).

I rode down the M1 to Sheffield today and whilst the colder air is nice, you also feel like you're being battered about at speed.

@ Joe Rocket   lol ............. but as they were "collected" on the other side of the English Channel I'm classing them as French, although some could be Swiss as we passed through Geneva!
