Just been browsing eBay and came across a fault code switch. It costs £12.99 and I'm not sure but I think it does the same as you can do with a little piece of wire for free but the advert did show these fault codes.

Thanks for that. It looks a slightly different list to the one I've been using, got it on here years ago, posted by greywolf. A quick glance shows extra codes, C34, C35, C36, C37, C38, C39 & C93, but a couple missing, C64 & C65?
C00 No error
C11 Camshaft Position Sensor (CMPS) - 1000 Only
C12 Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKPS)
C13 Intake Air Pressure Sensor (IAPS)
C14 Throttle Position Sensor
C15 Engine Coolant Temp. Sensor (ECTS)
C16 Vehicle Speed Sensor Circuit (Front) Malfunction
C17 Intake Air Pressure Sensor (IAPS) - 07 & Up 650 Only
C21 Intake Air Temp. Sensor (IATS)
C22 Atmospheric Pressure Sensor (APS) - 1000 Only
C23 Tip Over Sensor (TOS)
C24 Ignition Signal #1 (Front Coil)
C25 Ignition Signal #2 (Rear Coil)
C26 Ignition System #1 (Side) Malfunction
C27 Ignition System #2 (Side) Malfunction
C28 Secondary Throttle Valve Actuator (STVA)
C29 Secondary Throttle Position Sensor (STPS)
C31 Gear Position Sensor (GPS)
C32 Injector Signal #1 ( Front)
C33 Injector Signal #2 (Rear)
C40 ISC Valve - 07 & Up 650 Only
C41 Fuel Pump Control System (Fuel Pump Relay)
C42 Ignition Switch Signal (Anti-Theft)
C44 Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S)
C45 May be the same as C44 on earlier models or rear ABS sensor on later models (not well documented)
C46 EXCVA Sensor Circuit Malfunction
C49 PAIR Control Solenoid Valve
C60 Cooling fan relay circuit malfunction
C62 EVAP system purge control solenoid valve circuit malfunction
C64 HO2 Sensor #1 Heater Circuit Malfunction
C65 Idle speed malfunction (can be caused by any fault that takes the idle speed out of range, TPS and GPS faults for example)
C91 Vehicle Speed Sensor Circuit (Rear) Malfunction

Regarding the switch, I made my own plug in jumper. I didn't think it warranted fitting a switch but would have been easy & cheap enough. I suppose the advantage would be you leave the plug on all the time & leave the switch somewhere that you wouldn't have to remove the seat but until the day that becomes a problem I'm happy with it as it is.
If you're interested............

Had a jumper wire in my toolkit for a bit, then bought an OBD plug and adapter cable and now leave that under the seat.

Almost as quick as using the jumper (no faffing to remember the right pins), and just load up Torque on my phone and voila.

Can even leave it connected when riding and have values displayed on your phone as you ride (don't focus on these obvs :P)

OBD tool is a cheapo bluetooth £5 job off Amazon, there are many on there (ELM327 clone). The adapter cable is this one: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001571424038.html

Make sure you select "Suzuki 6-pin"

You can use the free Torque app on your phone, but it's not that expensive to buy (or use any other ELM327 compatible software).

It seems a bit pot luck whether you can clear codes with just the ignition on, with engine running, or after you've started then stopped the engine, certainly any code related to the immobiliser seems to need the engine starting then stopping with the kill switch/turning the kill switch back to run again before they'll clear. But the live data might be useful for some problems
