Just switch it off and switch it on again.
This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can.

No midget porn on the tablet, screen is too small to see what the little scamps are up to. Switched it on and off several times. No change. Only this site.

It's an issue with older devices, Let's Encrypts original Root certificate expired on 30th September, newer devices have the new trusted certificate. This site uses a Let's Encrypt signed certificate.
https://scotthelme.co.uk/lets-encrypt-old-root-expiration/

It caused me quite some pain on Thursday.

This should now be resolved. You may have to clear the cache on your browser.

Cheers, FR. The tablet is old, so may not like newer security protocols.

Cache cleared, browsing data cleared, no change. Apart from "buy a new tablet" any suggestions, folks ?

A 2lb lump hammer is the fix. No, seriously now. My laptop often shows something similar but it is old and still on windows 7 even though windows 11 has just opened in the outside world. I may buy a new laptop one day but I guess I'll get another 5 years out of this one first.
Good things rarely come to those who wait, best go out and get them while you can before it's too late.

If the issue is with the root certificate, are "they" going to bother sorting it?

I still get this warning randomly. I tried using Chrome too earlier today when it last appeared, but same issue.
Working fine at the moment though...
