To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

Wrong legend on the "T" shirt - after all, it is retired folk like us that, before and after the present troubles, we did and we will, go out on our bikes at any time. Not just for Breakfasts, ice creams, and caaaaaaaake but for the joy of riding in daylight and seeing the view when the roads are not filled with younger people rushing to and from their places of work. When the sun shines we can decide to go out and if it rains we can stay in. Let them say what they like we who are retired know that "This is our time" and it is just great.

Twenty years...bring it on.
Old enough to know better, but still too young to care...

Just to make you all envious I retired here at 62, that's the state retirement age at the moment, not early or self financed and four long years ago.

So how's it going so far then?

I don't get State Pension until 1st June 2022  (66)  but I retired in 2008 (53). I have had a few hobby jobs in between but not much... Best thing I ever did...

I believe he is full time breakfast tester, currently furloughed due to the pandemic.

I feel like retiring almost every day at 9:15 in the morning just as the morning meeting is over.

Don't think I'll ever retire ... I'll get too bored.

I had an insight back in the first lockdown and once I'd run out of DIY and other things to do I got bored real quick, thankfully I went back to work a week after.

Never say never though , maybe my crypto investments will come up trump's by then .. 🤞🤞

You'll have more results with klepto than crypto.
