Re-arrival
« on: March 21, 2024, 20:45:02 »
Evening all,

Back again after a few years away with BMW oilheads.

Back on a lovely AL8 650 and really looking forward to touring my favourite Wales once again with tent and stove.

I'm in Bath and west Wiltshire is a lovely area to ride as well as the lanes of Somerset. Glad to have soft suspension for all the potholes.

Simon

Welcome Simon. I've been down the BMW route too, oilheads and airheads. It took me a long time to find the right bike but that is any variation of the V-Strom.  :thumb: :welcome2:

This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can.

Just along the road from me, in North Somerset.

Wales is on the list for a camping return this year, but off to Scotland first.
The older I get, the better I was.

Welcome.  I too returned back to V-Stroms some four years ago after straying from the fold for a bit.

I'm just down the road, between Chippenham & Calne.  Ride mostly these days with the Wiltshire and Bath Advanced Motorcyclist (WaBAM).
