Keeping that yellow seat.....
« on: July 31, 2021, 18:10:32 »
Clean!

It seems the previous owner of my new-to-me 2018 1000XT was too short to get his stumpy little legs over the seat and it is scuffed and marked from his boots.

Rather than simply buy some upholstery cleaner I thought I'd throw the question open to the great and the good in the group to see what you use and have used.

I recall using jif or cif as it now called when the mechanics at motorcycle shitty put my oily u-lock under the seat strap rather than the bracket on my dt50 all demo years ago...? Try in a small spot first? Another thing I have used on upholstery has been Stardrops cleaner? Best of luck.
May your God go with you...
