Heed or Hepco Becker?
Phild:
Neither of the above crash bars require me to remove my lower engine crash bars, on my 2022 1050XT, to fit them.
Has anyone fitted either to their 1050XT?
I’ve seen a couple of videos of Heeds being fitted, but not the Hepco Becker set.
If anyone does have either fitted I’d be interested in your feedback.

I have the Hepco & Becker crash bars and engine guard, excellent quality and fit like a glove. The crash bars don’t transmit any vibrations, well worth the money :thumb:
Mine is the standard 1050 mind you, but they make an engine guard to suit the XT lower engine guard.

Thanks for the reply.
I’ve already got the HB engine guard / skid plate and it’s saving the bottom of the engine from road debris.
They do a set for my XT.👍 Were the upper bars easy enough to fit?
graingerblaze:
Yes, the engine/crash bars (if bought new) come with a longer centre engine bolt to mount. You will want a torque wrench to do up but a long handled one to remove, as the torque was very high from the factory. It took maybe 10 minutes to fit, really easy and mounting holes aligned perfectly. :thumb:

Many thanks.👍
