New chain but, what size?

I've just fallen foul of this...got a great deal on DID gold chain with JT sprockets year ago on eBay from M&P...fitted the kit they sent a 42 rear. Wondering whst effect this will have...Read about 2%gearing difference...I like low down grunt and never really ride over 85mph as use bike for touring. So may be a benefit? Anyone fallen foul of this too?

JT have an error in their records which they seem convinced is true, they list the US DL1000 as running 17/41 but all others as 17/42, Suzuki list 17/41 globally. I even emailed JT to no avail. Most retailers take JTs word on fitment.
