@Dr46, congratulations :thumb:

Our patient banana muncher, Martin came to my aid on several occasions in my quest to add pictures. The technically proficient never seem to grasp the increase in self worth after adding an image.

@Ade8, I see what you did there. :clap:
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

Having a break before crossing a rather large bridge at Nantes in France last year when the first lockdown was lifted.

Just buy a car...

Is that a plastic beak stuck to the side of the strom?
Old enough to know better, but still too young to care...

So May 2019 I decided, after 20 years of not owning a motorcycle to buy a bike again. A friend of mine had bought a brand new DL1000 at the end of 2018 and I was impressed with it, so I thought "I'll have one of those"
I bought a 2008 K8 and loved it.
By Jan 2021 I had done 7k ish miles and fancied a change. The K8, by then had done 42k and was showing it's age.
My friend had traded the Strom in for a BMW RS1200 and it was in a local dealer at a pretty keen price, so, long story shot, a deal was struck, with a very good trade in on my old K8, I am now the proud owner of "Duck face"
Santa Clause faced grumpy old bastard !

This is my VStrom 1000 I've only had it about a month or so, its a 2008 bike with only 7200 miles on when I got it. it was however rather neglected and needed a full service and TLC. I've  done over 1000 miles on it and its a great bike to accompany my Triumph Bobber.
that's fine red berry have on your head there reddevil what battalion were you in. both my brother and my brother in-law were in 2 para and myself and my younger bother were in 4 para.

Picked up this 2007 Honda Silverwing 600 Maxi-Scooter last year to own alongside the V-Strom, it's a pleasure to ride, deceptively quick and so smooooooth.

Really enjoying it lots...!
