Anyone insured with Devitt?
« on: July 02, 2018, 20:08:55 »
Doing the annual song and dance with insurance companies... My 2 favourite quotes were from MCE (£549 with a £2k compulsory excess) and Be Wiser (£9k a year)

Devitt coming out ccheapest at around £340 a year anyone had any experiences with them?

I have used them, they are no worse or better than the rest imo, though I have not claimed on them, or any other for that matter. :bow-blue:

As Wurzel said. I was with them for about ten years (no problems) now with C Nash and I would use Devitt again no problem.

Tried using Carole Nash and found their website frustrating, particularly when they couldn't find my bike by the reg number and then after filling in all the fields they said they couldn't quote...

Ended up calling my existing insurer and getting them to reduce the price by £16 and adding on protected NCB, legal cover and National breakdown cover. Why must they insist on this dance every year, just give me the best price...
