Hello to you'all from North Carolina USA
« on: October 26, 2008, 21:27:18 »
NIce to find the V Stom UK website... and if it is like the same group here in USA... it's anice bunch of folks.
I am a veteran of the motorcycle industry here, and am now a fan of the V Stroms since putting them into my Touring business here in North Carolina and the Smoky Mountains.  Great bikes for sure.. especially for the money!  have ridden GS BMW for many years and also Cagiva Gran Canyon when it comes to adventure bikes.  All of our guests that have never ridden  Stroms are very surprised by how much fun they are..
If any of you are ever over here in the good 'ol South of the USA... give us a ring... and if renting Stroms is of interest we can certainly help you out.  Routes, hotels, restaurants etc are readily available.  Strom members also get a little discount as well. :-)
I hope to get to the International Rally in Germany... and it looks like a lot of folks from the Uk will be there too.

Cheers

Welcome in Bill

Thanks Andy... The "Grim" in my subject line is a mystery.. tried to edit it out.. but it just stayed there.  No worries.. NC is definitely not a Grim state... and we have plenty of them over here..
Nice job on the Strom website stuff...

Bill, it's a bit of English humour aimed at the Northern part of England which I lovingly refer to as 'Grim' this forum seems to be dominated by 'Northerners' so just a bit of friendly banter
