Hello Honoury V Strom member? Mike Wright
« on: October 26, 2008, 20:04:57 »
Hello to all ...... OK I don't have a V Strom however a great friend of mine has and frequents this site called "Stobie" !............ we have travelled on a couple of long European trips and had some great adventures. I finally found the site he is doing a write up on our last trip. Can I become an honoury member or do I get booted out because I don't own a V Strom?......... Can it count if you go on trips and there's only 2 bikes but one is a V strom?

Must admit I was impressed after going over the Pyrenees with Stobie last year!..... Those V Stroms are quick for sure and sounded great when he opened it up. Shame I put too much Ultraseal in my front tyre and it caused a massive "jack Hammer" effect at anything over 75mph on the Paeges in France !

After the work he's done on the GS I can't see him being a convert. Put some pic's up Mike.

I've done a few more bits to it..... Changed the headlight to HID which together with the spots etc make a massive difference.
