Hi everyone, I'm Davie from Dunfermline in Fife.
I've been here before, maybe about 10 years or so ago.
After selling my K2 DL1000, I've had a Fireblade a Harley, a KTM, and A Bandit 1200.
But after much pestering by the wife, I'm now the owner of another VStrom. Happy wife happy life and all that.....

Pick it up next week, and very much looking forward to it.
The K2 I owned was a dream to own. A friend of mine bought it new, put about 11,000 miles on it then it sat in his garage for about 6 years. I pestered the life out of him to sell it me every time I saw him. He eventually gave in. 2000 beer tokens were exchanged and it was mine.
Took her home, removed the plugs and sprayed WD40 into the bores incase the rings were stuck, gave it 2 days to soak. Changed the battery, old plugs back in, topped the tank up with some new fuel...left the old stuff in. She started up 3rd attempt.
3 days later, the wife...then girlfriend, went to Italy on it. Never missed a beat.
So here we are again, now living in Central Scotland with some of the best riding in the UK on my doorstep and we're going to use it all.
