Hi from Cumbria
« on: December 01, 2015, 16:32:51 »
Evening all, quick introduction post before I pester you on how do I do this type questions......

Recently converted to a Vee2 (after 10+ years on Yamaha tall-rounders XTZ, TDMs) after foolishly trying out the 1000 when I was going for a 650. Got sucked in by the seating position, ease of riding, torque, mirrors etc.

I got a great deal on the Sports model from KC Superbikes in Carlisle and have now added heated grips, top box, Scottoiler and aux lights. The bike is used on a daily 80mile round trip commute including fell roads and I'm hoping to last to Crimbo before the gritting becomes too bad.

Niggles so far, handlebars turned in a bit too much for my liking, slight hesitancy at 2500RPM, footpegs and the 'mode' button has decided to stick on....I've only done 2200miles since October. Also the front brakes went crap in the wet after initial service and I've just overhauled them, can't remember the Yammy's ever looking like these did.

Best Regards
Chatty

:welcome: enjoy the Veek. Put plenty of ACF50 on it as Suzuki bolts go fuzzy just thinking about gritters.
