Imunify360
« on: July 19, 2022, 16:47:39 »
I noticed that I now have an extra hoop to jump through, to connect to this site, namely Imunify360 quiz screen.
My issue is when I respond to these questions in the quiz pix, I noticed that I have to go through a few screens to finally bypass this quiz screen to be granted access to the site. This I find very frustrating.
I'll admit that I'm not a great fan of jumping through hoops at my age, but I do understand that it is for the protection of this site against certain computer generated cyber attacks.
Anyhow if I fail to be a regular visitor to this site, at least you know the reason why.

Hmmm,

I haven't installed that and I don't think our webhosts have, are you sure you haven't picked up some nasties?  Run the free version of Malewarebytes and see what comes up.

Scrub that,

It is server side. I think I have disabled it while the hosts look into why it is being intrusive. It would be interesting to know if anyone else has had to deal with it (and for how long)?

I regularly get "it's not a secure site etc". So have to click past it.
But I haven't had that warning.
And I'm not a Robot.

The https shows a red line through it.
Please realise you are talking to a IT idiot.
And before IT I was just a normal idiot.

Thanks, I was able to log in this morning without being tested by the Imunify360 quiz screen.
In reply to your query, I type in https://www.v-strom.co.uk to access this site.

I noticed that I neglected to blank out my IP address in my attachment on the 1st post. Any way that the address can be blanked out after the fact?

At the bottom of the page there is a WAP2 option
https://www.v-strom.co.uk/smf/index.php?wap2 That is SMF's crude version of mobile friendly.

Gert if it was only you getting these errors and you are using https then it may be that your ISP has a problem with v-strom.co.uk SSL certificate. If this is the case then the good news for you is just wait and your ISP will catch up and sort it.
Notwithstanding that Fat Rat has turned off Imunify360.........

Maybe I should have said. IDIOT!
I only access this site from my Huawei tablet I have never accessed it from anywhere else. But it is very rare I get the message from other sites about the privacy warnings and have never seen the https struck out with a red line elsewhere. But, it didn't happen yet today?
