Just a heads up for anyone interested, Euro Car Parts are currently doing around up to 48% (I think) off Oxford Atlas straps. Handy if you have a branch nearby or can get up to £25 or more to trigger free home delivery.
https://www.eurocarparts.com/search/Oxford%20atlas Hopefully that link will work, otherwise just search for them on the website.

Yeah, that might have let a few mozzies past the screen.

Glad you're happy.  :thumb:

Personally I didn't see a problem.

In the interests of transparency, I may have been on my second bike testing if my homemade milk container seal-mate tooly fork fix thing had worked which, it does seem to have. Lovely.

Today, I ordered another Dunlop Mixtour Trail for the rear of the Transalp. The original one has only done 3,300 miles and is pretty much shot. I thought it was my big heavy bikes that wore out tyres quickly, but it seeems it might just be me...

Tyres / Re: Battlexe B23 ..has anyone had these on their 650 ..??

I had a pair of Bridgestone T31's fitted loose to my 2022 650 a couple of weeks ago.
I've done 600+ miles on them. Very impressed.

The only (temporary) downside was the tyre noise on the first ride out. It sounded like the hugger or mudguard were rubbing (neither were). Think it was just the myriad spikes/pimples rubbing off.  Never had that before.

I'm know I'm not comparing apples with apples here. The A40's that came off were worn and out of shape. Having said that, the T31's have made the ride plusher over poor road surfaces. Plus I can really feel the front now in a turn.
I don't do any gravel roads etc, so I'm OK with a pure road tyre. I'll sacrifice some mileage for more feel. A big thumbs up from me.

Out on the Guerrilla this morning for the first time in four weeks.  I went to Lings Ipswich aka Suffolk Triumph to swap the V7 ignition key for the one I accidently included in the sale of the V7 Special a few weeks ago. I also collected the tank pad that was not available until recently They even had it stored with my Reg number on it.  That's customer care.

Update - I bought two of the Healtech Thunderboxes and fitted one in the Trident and one on the Guerrilla to power the satnav. They work as they claim to and are a neat solution. I also fitted a USB port to the Trident Handlebars. The Guerrilla has one as standard.

Thanks Fellas. I got a hiflo and this one is going to get fecked.
Literally £2 cheaper. Bike is now freshly oiled, chain freshly lubed and the entire thing is ready for another few thousand miles. Time for my monthly shower.
