Helmet carrier bag/rucksack
« on: March 20, 2021, 19:48:32 »
Hi All

Anyone use a backpack that can hold your lid while walking around, either via a net on the back of the backpack or a section in it etc ? Just wondered how people solve this problem without leaving their helmet attached to the bike via a cable (I want to keep it with me !).

Just after any ideas / makes etc

Thanks !

P.S - I'm not a huge fan of a top box, so that ones out. Happy to use a light backpack, as on adventure bikes I don't find them an issue due to the sitting position being straighter than a sports bike.

A few years back, I used to have a shark helmet rucksack. Couldn't fit much else in it, but did the job. What about something like this https://motorcycleessentials.co.uk/product/Arai-helmet-bag-black/

I got one of these, but from AMZ ..

The helmet holder part expands in and out, so it doesn't have to be there all the time, hanging open and empty when not needed.
Also, the main compartment expands with a zip. So all round pretty flexible, good value and comfortable on the shoulders.

Top box. Because I can't be lugging things aound.
This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can.

Thanks for all the replies everyone (and sorry for the slow response) !

The Biketek one looks pretty good, and decent value. JDC also along the same lines.

I'll try one of them out and see how I get on  :thumb:
