I've taken my time posting but back in August I had the Sharealike clutch mod done (along with some other work I did) ready for a three week tour down to Croatia in September.
It's a long story but despite the work done I had gremlins elsewhere on the Suzuki and had to take me other bike, so no high mileage clutch test on the foreign mountain passes.
Despite all this, since we got back I've been putting the miles on the Suzuki and I can confirm as others have said that it now feels like the bike it should, the 'chudder' is gone and all is well. Thank's John, you did a proper job :thumb:.

Also had John's clutch basket mod done last summer. My UK registered SV1000n had a bad case of the chudder, and after doing the valve clearances / syncing throttle bodies, flashing the ecu for a slightly richer low end, and still having the problem, I took the plunge and send my basket off to John for modification. The difference has been night and day, and 4k miles later the bike is still one of the smoothest v-twins I've had the pleasure of riding. Without a doubt this is the best mod I've done to the bike, and John's service was first class and super professional. Ten out of ten!

John did my basket in February this year so he was doing them then OK. I got in touch through his email on his web site vibfree.com I think it was. Makes a good improvement especially two up with more load and fewer revs on the engine.

I’ve tried his email with no luck….I need it doing , I’m not enjoying riding my bike with the issue

There's a bloke in the USA that does them also werks something or other. Price was similar at 300 quid but postage was high plus there might be some duty to pay I'm not sure. But he would be faster if your in a hurry as he does an exchange service. You pay something like 500 quid, he sends a basket, you fit it and post your old basket back and he refunds you 150 quid.
There was a post on here a few weeks ago about someone from Poland doing them on a group basis, have a look see if you can find it.
It does make I good difference, not super smooth but better, I notice it more two up than solo.
