That's the one. Yes it pulls apart but it's got a little 'lug' that you have to press to release the blank part. This is the plug you require to wire into it and you can see the bit that needs pressing in.

I think I may have another spare if you want it?

Edited with a different e-bay ad. If you scroll to the bottom they do them pre-wired if you would prefer that?

Thanks again. Is it possible to buy a one piece usb handlebar mounted USB charging unit that has a wire with correct connection to go straight into the "'spare ignition switched connector" under the right hand side fairing ? If I have to buy 2 seperate pieces what is the name -I ask because the link to Ebay you sent has ended selling them  -...is it 2 WAY SUMITOMO 6180-2181 or Sumitomo MT090-2B or  a combination of the 2 ?
Will it be OK to leave the dummy piece out for a week or so while I order these parts or will the rain water get into the electrics if I leave it out ?

Very odd, when I checked and posted my last reply they were still advertised as available, now they're not.  I've sent a message to the supplier to ask if they're still available, lets see when they come back with. I'll let you know.
I imagine you can get a bar mounted voltmeter/USB connector but not with that particular connector.
The connector will be fine for a week or two a bit of ACF50...  GT85 or WD40 sprayed into it would help.

Angus, I've had a reply from the supplier and they say that they are out of stock but waiting for another supply. I have asked them if they have a date they'll be in. I'll let you know.

However, in the meantime I do have a spare one. If you PM your address I'll send it to you.  :thumb:

:thumb: although Auto Click are the e-bay seller's of the unit I posted about above who don't have any at the moment and were selling 5 units for £4.99 with free postage. They may not be that price when they get the next lot in of course.  :)
