Hello hello! Some demon inside me I thought he would be good idea to buy a slightly knackered 2004 650 vstrom... I'm having great fun fettling it! I've been lurking on here for a while and finding various bits of advice full stop thought it was about time I joined the party. So hello all! What a great community of helpful folks!

Good choice. The K4 version of the DL650 is the best motorcycle ever designed and manufactured. Especially in Blue.

No. He had a K6. The same as a K4, only with a crappy black frame.
