New aluminium or old style luggage

Due to restriction on size of top box when using new Suzuki aluminium luggage was looking at Suzuki DL1000 AL4 V STROM PANNIERS, BRUSHED ALUMINUM FINISH  NEW  (7169) side panniers.
Can anyone tell me if a full face helmet can fit into the early issue panniers?

Only if you’re a Tefal man who’s head has been further squashed by a vice unforunately. The top box is quite deep however and takes my flip helmet.
