Spotlights up to £100
« on: March 05, 2019, 16:06:10 »
Hello. Can you please advise me some cheap LED spotlights?? I have thise chinese shit for £15 but already broken because of condensation inside, they are not weatherproof at all.
I would like something more decent but I don't want to spend fortune on them.

Have you perhaps considered making up your own? Basically all you need per lamp is, a 12V LED (cold white), a lamp housing, clamps, wiring, sealer and a coat of paint.
A typical example of a DIY setup can be seen on this site http://www.DL650.org/photos/pbsoluces/seb52/Feux-additionnels.pdf, that I used.
The set that I built for my KLR, lasted well. The reducer, not being available at the time, I had to gippo. Low cost to replace components, if ever required.

I have a pair of these. They are well made and bright enough.
Edit: the price shown is per lamp...

@ pichulec

Let us know how you get on with them would you?  I'm in the same situation, my Glee has a pair of cheap Chinese awfulness hanging off the crash bars, and I've had my eye on the ones you bought for a wee while.  Just couldn't bring myself to take a punt on them.  Probably will though.
Cheers.

They actually very nice. Bright, waterproof, no condensation spotted so far. Very wide beam of light, not blinding other drivers. Only one mode, (on or off). Those from my link coming without the switch but I saw on ebay the same model with the switch also. Recommended.
