Wanted strong double sided foam tape - any clues?
« on: February 15, 2019, 15:40:57 »
I've been searching the web for some double sided rubber tape. I want something with a thickness say about 0.5 to 1.0mm and 2.0 to 3.5 mm and 40 to 50 mm wide.  It must be strong and weather proof. Anyone seen anything like that?
This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can.

I usually use this one from 3M

3M VHB 7000072418

Maybe not the size that you need, but is strong and reliable.

If you only want a small amount try asking a friendly local car dealership for a couple of pieces. It’s used to stick the rear numberplates on cars and survives OK in all weathers.
