Metzeler have announced a safety recall for a batch of Tourance tyres (150/70 17 R17 M/C 69V) manufactured in weeks 09 & 10 2010. The affected batch no's are marked on the sidewall -

Apparently the tread can tear, causing sudden and unexpected vibaration (no shit).

Information from page 26 of this weeks MCN (14/7/10), if you've got Metz' on the bike give 'em a quick check to be on the safe side  :thumb:
