Cheap synthetic oil
« on: January 22, 2018, 21:02:24 »
Just a heads-up but Tesco petrol stations are selling off Castrol power1 racing synthetic motorbike oil for £3.12 a litre. Usually it is nearer to £13. May be useful for the track day boys?

Thanks for the link Tall, I've just changed mine.

It did set me thinking http://www.msvtrackdays.com/bike/calendar/2018/march/23-n-cp/
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

Not reduced in two of my local superstores, still at £12.47 per litre so I don't think this is national? Bit of a goose chase!

Seems you got lucky  :icon_wink:

Ask them to check the price. The man who I got the heads up from saw the deal at a Tesco fuel station in the Midlands so went to his local Tesco petrol station back home and the same deal was on there too. I went to two stations near me and bought a total of 8 litres. One of the garages showed it at full price but when I asked them to check it, it came up at £3.12. Worth the ask as I can't see why it should some garages and not others.

I had to go back to Tesco's for some shopping and just couldn't help but to nip back in the filling station and grab some more....

If they are on shelf at full price ask them to check. One of the places I went to still had them on at full price but when I asked them to check it the price they scanned at was the offer.
