Pannier rails for 2017 on DL650
« on: March 04, 2020, 15:46:31 »
For anyone looking for throw-over pannier rails for their 2017 on DL650, Cosmo accessories now has them. Actually, it's the 1000s that fit anyway! Look a bit less agricultural than the hardcase variants, and easy to fit. There's about 32 cm I reckon, between top of seat and the silencer.

Don't forget your 10% members discount!

Nb: other rails are available, probably. Just I couldn't find any

I like the look of these and they are at a very good price.  I think good pannier brackets can act as a good rear crash bar.   But do you know what panniers will fit on them?

These panniers rails are designed to take soft luggage by the look of them.

How do you claim the members discount? Cosmo's website has a field for a discount code - do we have one?
(like the look of the rails, but what what's with the colour of of the I10 in the background?????)

Cosmo racks fitted - but I would say the paint on the aluminium spacers was a bit naff. The bag they came in was full off flakes and the paint all came off after some scrubbing and fingernail work. I took all 8 off to York Powder Coating in Elvington and for a tenner (cash) they are now black and not bare silver. Looking good but I think I'll invest in a heatshield for the exhaust depending on how the 25l soft panniers fit (when they get here .. ).
