Wasn't it Bosnjo that fitted the winglets?

My Givi screen arrived today, haven't had time to fit it to the bike yet, but looks canny out of the box, sat on the carpet! Got it cheap from italy, too (far cheaper than MRA and madstad) Mingarelli on ebay, arrived well protected in 3 boxes (russian-doll-style!), only took a week or so. I'll post on here tomorrow after I have tried it out! :thumb:

I have both for my strom. I use the givi in spring autumn and the mra in summer.  The givi works much better. I'm in Scotland at the minute and because for the good weather I left the mra on, regret that now. I thought my bike felt better in 5 gear on the tre than 4 th, maybe just my imagination.  A g2 throttle tamer helps too.
My old vstrom is not going the best over here, don't like the heat and lots of vibration coming through, feels real rough. And I think my seat foam has gone, my arse is killin me!

I have both, I have used both, they both work. Currently with Givi as I'm a tall rider. Whichever option only buy the clear version.
In my defence, she did leave me unsupervised.

Not had much luck with the Givi Airflow on my 2017 DL650, nor with the MRA Xcreen, despite playing about for hours with various settings and even shimming out the bottom fittings a centimeter or so. Got rid of the entire screen the other day and it was a revelation, all that clean air.... Looking for a shortie screen now so I can modify it to make it as small as possible!

Try shimming out the top, longer bolts will be needed, worked well for me on all three 650 Vstroms I've had  :thumb:

MRA or Givi Airflow ?
« Reply #33 on: January 14, 2019, 10:54:13 »
Hello,

If anyone would like to try either a Givi Airflow or an MRA X-screen on their 2011-2016 DL650, let me know. I've got both and am in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. You can pop in and try them no problem. Both are much better than stock - neither is as good as I would like it to be ! Currently battling with the hundreds of possible positions for the MRA - not found the sweet spot yet !

Regards

Tim

I'd like to try an MRA Vario touring screen.  The Givi just isn't working for me as still getting buffeting at 60mph+  It's lovely up till those speeds.  That's on a 2014 650 though.
