Hello from Dorchester, Dorset... UK !
« on: March 26, 2019, 15:07:08 »
Hi All

Just joined the forum, to find more about the Stroms and what people think of them.

Sold my BMW R Nine T, want to switch to an Adventure bike on a tight budget (as I want to end up with 2 bikes for the first time ever, second will be something old to fiddle with in the garage).

Tested the 650 today, testing the 1000 on Thursday and hoping I don't like that too much as it's a whole heap more (usual biking dilema  :dl_hyperhysteria:

Hello Matt and welcome, if you're looking at something old may I suggest Suzuki two strokes, easy to work on, not always cheap to buy, GT750 being the best, well I would say that, T500, T250, GT380/550 etc, lots of fun sorting and thereafter.

 :welcome: from  :traitor:

It's an usual occurrence someone selling an R Nine T, our resident bike guru was only mentioning it on Sunday.
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

Thanks for the welcome. A two stroke is very tempting, as about 20 years ago I have a RD350YPVS and would love to have one again to tinker with.  :fix:
