Hi all,
I have 2nd gen DL650. That black plastic cover is crumbling; do you know what that would be?

Looks like a pretty well dead seal on the possibly dead top steering head bearing.
You'd be better off introducing yourself in this section, and asking technical questions in the appropriate area.
Looks like part no.7, dust cover.
